(More customer reviews)I've drilled nine 1-1/4" X 36" holes in granit with this bit.It isn't really rated for granit but that is what I have to drill.It worked well at first, then the carbides wore out.I would try to sharpen them but eventually they got too short.It would be nice If they sold replaceable carbides to braze in.The flutes and shaft don't wear, of course, so rather than fork out big bucks for a whole new bit I'd sure like to pay a couple bucks for the carbides.
