(More customer reviews)I bought one of these bits today to replace a porter cable bit which wore out after only a few dado style cuts. The porter cable bit made my craftsman router scream like a dying witch, and i was about to abandon the project because of the noise and vibration, and the slow cutting, before the RIDICULOUS vibration of the porter cable bit caused a depth adjustment nut on my router to loosen, sending the bit plunging through plywood into some asphalt, which officially ruined the porter cable bit. The irony is that this accident was a blessing in disguise, as i t caused me to buy one of these amazing bosch bits as a replacement.

This bit is at least 10x quieter, cuts much faster, and is worth the money spent on it.
