(More customer reviews)Great design and well made, this hole saw looks like it will cut very cleanly through a variety of materials.The carbide bits look well sharpened and the tool overall is heavy duty and solid.Unfortunatly, I haven't had a chance to use it yet because it can't be used as-is out of the package.Although the description says no adapter needed (on tool), it actually needs a special, non-standard mandrel available only from the manufacturer before you can use it.The shank of the tool looks like a hex, but is over 3/4 inch thick -- too big for a standard drill -- and there is no pilot bit.I believe the PCM38 mandrel from Bosch will fit this bit, but that information wasn't in the description, and it's not clear which of the mandrels from Bosch will or won't fit.I will experiment and hopefully find out more soon...
