(More customer reviews)I picked this bit up to drill holes into my garage concrete slab for a automobile lift.I had picked up locally a Bosch SPS+ bit that didn't work properly in my hammer drill.I figured with a brand new quality drill the remaining 5 holes would be easy.Even with drilling pilot holes of 1/4", then 1/2" then 5/8" before trying to reach the 7/8" size of this bit I was surprised how slow and tough the drilling was.Now maybe my hammer drill isn't state of the art, but it is a hammer drill not a normal drill, and the 1/2" bit from a lesser marketed brand cut though the concrete much easier.

I found 7/8" to be a difficult size to find locally, most places go from 3/4" to 1", so Amazon came through where the local places had nothing.
