Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I have many Bosch tools, so when I wanted my first nail gun I was glad to see that Bosch had just started making them. I am putting up a 10x12 shed and then converting a garage into living space, so I thought a nail gun would speed up the process and do a better job than hand-nailing. So far I really like this nail gun. I watched videos and read articles about nail gun accidents before attempting to use this nail gun, and sure enough my first shot was a double-shot (side-by-side). Even though I had read about the recoil/bounce/held-trigger phenomenon, I wasn't quite prepared for it. After that first shot there have been no problems--except several dry-fires when I ran out of nails in the magazine. I have read that pin nailers (and others?) have anti-dry fire mechanisms, but this gun doesn't. I haven't checked to see if other framing nailers have anti-dry fire, but it would be nice. Pluses: easy to load the nails, easy to adjust the nail depth, easy to see the target, easy to see how many nails are left (but you have to look!), confidence in Bosch quality. Minuses: no anti-dry fire, not used to the weight yet (but all framing nailers are heavy, right?), I don't think a joist hook came with the gun (if one is even available). I will probably be buying another Bosch nail gun for the interior work. By the way, I couldn't wait for the Bosch air compressors to reach retailers, so I bought the twin-tank Makita that is so highly regarded. So far, it has been great and I would buy it again. Very quiet for a compressor--but I have to get a cart to move it or my back will give out.

This nailer is part of a new line of Bosch tools, which utilize Full-Force Technology to consistently drive nails flush, even in industrial lumber. This revolutionary engineering works without return chambers that add bulk and weight and create wasted energy on the strike.
When the trigger is pulled on the SN350-20F, air drives the piston down the cylinder. As the piston strikes, air is exhausted out the front of the tool for 100-percent air power and no wasted energy.
Lightweight, Compact Design Doesn't Skimp on Power
Measuring 6.7 x 16.6 x 21.0 inches (WxHxL) and weighing just 8.4 pounds, the SN350-20F is 20% smaller than its competitors, making it the best choice for reliable, all-day control.
Its small size doesn't mean a loss in power, however. In fact, this tool drives 20-degree full-head nails from 2.0 to 3.5 inches (diameter .113 to .148 inch) with an operating range of 60–120 psi, so no nails are ever left standing.
Metal Strike Plate and Inline Air Filter for Durability
Designed for durability, even on heavy-duty jobs, the SN350-20F includes a metal strike plate that can stand up to jobsite abuse, including the positioning of lumber. At the same time, a self-cleaning inline air filter keeps debris away from the valve and O-ring for longer life.
Easy Drive Adjustments, Loading, and Jam Removal
The SN350-20F provides straightforward, user-friendly operation, including a tool-less adjustable depth-of-drive for precise results and maximum control. Additionally, a single-action follower lock back uses a simple motion to make loading and unloading nails a breeze, while a top-load, quick-release magazine lets you easily remove jammed nails without disassembling the tool.
Aggressive Teeth and Selectable Trigger for Ease of Operation
To ensure high-quality results, the nailer features a work contact element with aggressive teeth that grip the workpiece when you're toe-nailing. It also features a tool-less selectable trigger that effortlessly switches between bump and sequential firing.
The SN350-20F comes with a one-year unconditional warranty.
