[...], and bought it as my old Makita had finally died. It comes in a handy case with two batteries and the charger, but not even a single screwdriver bit (they could have put one in!)
The advantages are that it is small with an LED light to help in dark places, reasonably powerful (for 4 volts), and the batteries last well and charge quickly (30 mins or less). Another advantage (if its power is too little on occasionns) is when you release the trigger the bit locks so you can actually twist the tool as if it were a manual screwdriver. The only disadvantage is it doesn't have a clutch so you can't vary the torque and avoid stripping screws. However, a variable torque clutch would have drastically added to the cost and Bosch were obviously looking for something in the low cost area.
